About Windsor Terrace

Located directly southwest of Prospect Park, Windsor Terrace shares many similarities with neighboring Park Slope, making it very popular with renters. The neighborhood is named after the town of Windsor, in England, and is well-known for its tranquil, tree-lined streets as well as its brick townhouses. Windsor Terrace is mostly residential, making it popular with families who enjoy the distinctive small-town vibe and affordable rents. You might even recognize the neighborhood’s streets from the big screen as it has often been a backdrop for Hollywood films, including The Amazing Spiderman. Many renters have moved into the neighborhood from the surrounding area, as prices have risen all over Brooklyn. This influx of new residents has led to apartments for rent in Windsor Terrace commanding ever-higher prices, but overall, rents are still attractive. The real challenge for many is that it can be fairly difficult to find an apartment. Overall, rental inventory can feel limited due to the small size of the community, and finding a no-fee apartment can be especially challenging.
With its ideal location in central Brooklyn, Windsor Terrace is only a short commute from Downtown Brooklyn and less than a 45-minute subway ride to Manhattan. It also provides residents with convenient access to Prospect Park. Best of all, renting an apartment in the neighborhood is more feasible for many New Yorkers due to the relatively affordable prices.
