Yorkshire Towers

Yorkshire Towers is a post-war apartment building located at 305 East 86th Street. An alternate address for the property is 315 East 86th Street. The building is home to just under 700 rental apartments, consisting of a mix of older, rent-stabilized units, and newer, recently renovated market-rate luxury apartments which feature high-end finishes. Unfortunately, Yorkshire Towers, which is managed by UES Management, has a reputation for being poorly managed and receives negative reviews from past and present tenants by the truckload. We would advise any prospective renters to take a good read through the building’s Yelp reviews before signing a lease at the property. The market-rate residences available for rent at Yorkshire Towers range from studios to large, three-bedroom homes. The vast majority of apartments have been recently renovated and features elegant finishes and fixtures including Bosch appliances, Kohler fixtures, crown molding, California closets, and caesar-stone countertops. Select units also come with in-home washer and dryers and private balconies. The amenities available to residents at Yorkshire Towers are relatively standard for a New York City luxury rental building. There’s a state of the art fitness center equipped with the latest equipment and a sauna, as well as a heated indoor swimming pool. There’s also a children’s playroom and a terrace. The biggest draw for the property has to be its central Upper East Side location, which is near the excellent shopping, dining, and nightlife the neighborhood has to offer. Public transportation is also located nearby with the Q, 4, 5, and 6 subways all within walking distance. While the apartments at Yorkshire Towers look nice at first glance and the location is great we would recommend avoiding the property due to the numerous complaints from residents.
