Maroon 5 Frontman Juggled Over $100Million in Real Estate Transactions in 2018

‘The Voice’ judge and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has been keeping busy in 2018, buying and selling real estate left and right, his most expensive purchase being a $35.5 million Beverly Hills mansion. The home didn’t even reach the market, as Levine quickly snagged the property in an off-market transaction.

The Maroon 5 crooner and his wife Behati Prinsloo bought the 12,000-square-foot estate from Max Mutchnick, who paid $23 million for it back in June 2018 and spent a fortune on renovations, which even landed the home a feature in Elle Decor.

The 3-story, Tudor-style mansion has seven bedrooms—including a master suite with a private sitting room and custom dressing rooms—eight bathrooms, a library, and a screening room. The one-acre ground on which the property sits on features lush green spaces with tree-shaded terraces, a swimming pool, playground, a tennis court as well as a one-bedroom, one-bathroom guesthouse.

The singer and TV host also made a bold purchase towards the end of 2018, buying a 9,000-square-foot mansion in Los Angeles for $32 million. Again, in an off-market transaction. The Pacific Palisades home was previously owned by celebrity couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.

Without a doubt, Adam Levine stayed in the spotlight both in the entertainment and real estate world last year. He also sold two of his properties for a cumulated $33.9 million: a $15.9 million home in Beverly Hills and an $18 million estate in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles.

Cindy Crawford Sells Malibu Beach House for a cool $45Mil in 2018

The couple bought the home in 2015 and revamped the property before listing it one year later.

Sitting on about 3 acres of land, the beachfront home spans 5,300 square feet and includes four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The rooms are decorated in neutral tones with dark wood detailing throughout, while the kitchen is classically decorated with white cupboards and a wooden breakfast bar. The house features floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the coast and a path leading directly to the beach. The compound also boasts a swimming pool and a spa, as well as a tennis court.

The seven-bedroom home features unique interior designs by Kelly Wearstler, from pink couches to abstract wall and floor patterns. In one of the master suite bathrooms, a mixture of black and gold stones can be found on both the walls and the floor, and a black-and-white design in the entryway. Granite and marble patterns can also be found throughout the home, as well as five unique fireplaces.

Rounding up the top 10 list is rapper Travis Scott’s and Kylie Jenner’s $13.5 million home purchase in Beverly Hills. The celebrity couple bought the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom estate, marking Jenner’s sixth home purchase by the age of 21.

The house features 9,680 square feet of living space and chicly decorated, open-concept spaces with modern fixtures as well as a large, green backyard. The one-acre ground also boasts a guesthouse, a three-car garage, and a swimming pool.
